Heavy, Sapeurs Infantry of the Line sword with scabbard, 26-3/4" straight blade, the lower 3" with fire-blued finish and gold-washed panel reading: "Coullier Rue St. Honore No. 574/A/Paris". Single wide fuller with 8" false edge. Brass crossguard with forward facing quillons. Rooster head hilt and pommel. Contained in original black leather scabbard with brass mounts. Oval belt stud. Blade, hilt and scabbard showing light wear.
