Having a 31" curved blade with single wide fuller. Lower section of blade with fire-blued finish and gold-washed panels featuring arms panoplies and floral scrolls. Ricasso marked: "Solingen". One-piece clamshell guard with deep-relief figurals and terminals with rosettes. Sculpted knuckle-bow with lion head and flower vignettes. Animal head quillion. Ribbed wood grip. Deep-relief lion head pommel. Blade showing wear and minor pitting. Hilt with wear and age patina.
