The sword with curved 30-1/4" blade with single wide fuller. Lower portion having a fire-blued finish with gold-washed panels, including panoply of arms and other motifs. Flat brass crossguard pierced with floral scrolls. “P”-shaped knuckle-bow, plain brass back strap terminating with an eagle head pommel. One-piece ivory grip with carved surface. Blade showing wear and losses to finish. Grip with linear crack and chip. Attached tag from Medicus collection.
