Having a 31" curved blade, etched with floral scrolls, rayed crown, English crest, vacant circular panel and ricasso with legend: Hawkes & Co./London/ Manufacturers/To The Queen. Sculpted crossguard of traditional form with ball terminals. Horn grip scales held by twin rosettes on either sides. Traditional pommel with sword knot opening. Pommel with silver bullion sword knot. Contained in black leather-covered metal scabbard. Two chromed ring mounts. Blade polished, showing wear and pitting. Minor rust spotting. Hilt with wear, stable linear crack.
