Having a 19-1/4" blade with single wide fuller. Serrated back edge. Blade with engraved legend: Presented by Richard Swan Esq. Master/Recovered from the Frigate “Vladimir” Sunk at Sebastapol during the Russian War of 1854-5. Right ricasso with stamps: BK/AC/18/I. Brass one-piece crossguard with target finials. Crossguard inscribed: Frigate Vladimir. Ribbed grip. Ovoid pommel with button finial. Blade with wear and pitting. No scabbard.
