The officer’s small sword with a straight, tapered blade of triangular section. Blade incised with gold-washed arms panoplies and other motifs. Hilt with clamshell guard, the obverse with floral tendrils and knuckle-bow with relief floral themes. Oblong orb pommel with floral fans. Leafy meander back strap. Pearl grip scales. No scabbard. Blade showing wear and pitting. Hilt with light wear.
