Very early post-1813 Prussian other rank's helmet with leather top, felt body and leather neck protector. Silver Iron Cross plate lying on top of black moire tape with bullion tape around it. Articulated chinscales with leather backing. No cording present. Leather brim and brown leather sweatband. Cotton liner. Some elements have been upgraded or replaced. Helmet showing wear, scuffs and moth damage.
