Having a 28-1/2" tapered, straight blade of triangular section. Brass hilt with clamshell guard. Pierced with laurel and oak leaf wreath with stand of flags in center. Shadow of a Maltese cross over a small hole in center of guard. Sculpted relief knuckle-bow with horn of plenty quillion terminal. Flattened orb pommel with scalloped edges and beaded oval. Pearl grip scales with line borders. Contained in black leather-covered wood scabbard. Two brass mounts with belt stud. No hanging rings. Blade showing wear, pitting and nicks to edge. Scabbard with wear and flaking of leather.
