Comprised of: 1) Sabre with a 26-1/2" blade with an overall length of 33", has a single fuller, cast brass lion cross guard, bone grip with twisted wire ribs and a faceted oval pommel. 2) Russian Officer's Shashka. It is slightly curved, one medium fuller with one side stamped "Solingen" and the other side bears a double headed eagle and two lines of Russian writing. The brass stirrup hilt has a pierced quillion, grooved black grip, and angled pommel with tang screw button. The scabbard with wood covered with black leather. The upper band has a D-loop on the inner face. 34-3/4" in length with a 29-1/4" x 1-1/4" blade . Length in scabbard totals 38". 3) Regimental Cutlass. This straight, single-edge sword has one medium fuller and exquisite etching on both sides, including the words "I. Garde Ulanen Regiment" (Guard Lancers Regiment). The steel counterguard is hinged and bears a cypher of a crowned eagle clutching a sword and a sphere. Black metal scabbard has one fixed ring. 37-1/2" in length with a blade of 32-1/4" x 1".
