Comprised of: 1) Model 1803 Infantry Briquet with a 22-3/4” curved blade with no fullers, marked at ricasso: “Remiofeid”. One-piece hilt with molded knuckle-bow and grip. Contained in an ill-fitted leather scabbard with two brass mounts and belt loop. 2) Sword with painted grip and scabbard. Both blades showing wear and pitting. Last example with painted grip. Condition is good for the age of the swords.
