Comprised of: 1) Unmarked heavy Cavalry saber has a 35-1/2" blade with three fullers. Steel three bar hilt and wire wrapped fish skin grips. Scabbard has two hanging rings and drag. 2) French Cavalry saber has a 31-3/4" blade with floral etchings, spears, flags drum and in gold lettering "A LEUR COLONEL SON ALTESSE ROYALE. LE DUC DE CHARTRES". Brass three bar hilt with wire wrapped leather grip, 40% leather remains.
