Comprised of 1) British Model 1796 has a curved 29-3/4" blade. Fire blue blade with gold etching on both sides of flowers, swords, horse and cavalryman, British crown and shield. Edge of blade reads “Hawkes Mosley & Co. Piccadilly London. Warranted”. P knuckle guard with languets, wire wrapped shark skin grip. Scabbard with two hanging rings. 2) French Briquet with a 22-1/2” rounded blade. Brass P guard hilt stamped with inspector stamp, number “236”, “H.D.I” and “Versailles”. Small piece of brass hilt missing. Leather scabbard with brass mounts.
