Comprised of: 1) Straight sword with a single edged 31-3/4" blade with medium to large full blade length fuller, various etchings on the blade. Brass D guard hilt with acorn shaped pommel, wired wrapped grip, hinged brass counter guard is engraved "Edm. Sanders, Surgeon, Bridge End 16 Oct. 1800", with a woven sword knot tassel. Scabbard has brass chape and locket, and the leather body is worn and weak in some areas. 2) Double edged cross form has a 30-1/4" blade. Hilt has bow tie shaped crossguard quillions marked "10 778 K.2:5" on the arms. Worn grip is ribbed and pommel is the classic wheel type. Scabbard shows considerable age and wear. 3) Straight sword has a single edged 30-1/2" blade with a medium full blade length fuller with decorative etchings on the blade in gold, silver, and blue black colors and "E Pluribus Unum" lettering. Hilt has ornate crossguard quillions with knobs at the end of each arm, a back strap, curved hook like pommel, and bone grip with a crosshatch design. Grip is broken and mostly missing on one side. Scabbard shows rusting. 4) Single edged 28" curved blade sword. Three barred pierced guard hilt, back strap, bird head shaped pommel, and indented ribbed wood grip. There is no scabbard present for this sword, and the sword shows rusting and wear.
