Important Imperial Russian commemorative presentation Regimental Silver Korch to Vladimir Verekin for ten year service in the regiment. Created in the era of Czar Nicholas II, the solid silver regimental korch with date on front: 1887-1897. The bottom with names of approximately 48 men who were in the same regiment. Sides engraved with terms of endearment for the soldier’s girlfriend. Also showing eagles within floral scrolls. Imperial double-headed eagle on top of handle which is supported by a silver bracket in the form of a snake with open mouth. Maker’s name, M. Pavel (Mikhail) and cartouche located below handle. Weight: 5 pounds. With light age patina.
