Comprised of: 1) English Model 1796 has a 32” curved blade with a single fuller. P guard knuckle bow with languets and ribbed wood grips. Metal scabbard with two hanging rings. 2) French 1803 Infantry Briquet. Brass hilt marked “XXSATT.T.FS , 242” with inspector letters W and C. Leather scabbard with frog and brass drag. P guard has rust, missing wire, and the blade is dark in several areas. Scabbard has a small hole with rough leather.
