Having an unmarked, 29-1/4” curved blade with a single wide fuller. Hilt of conventional form with straight cross guard with integral languets, having relief crowns present. Cabbage leaf terminals on quillions, lion head pommel, checkered bone grip. Chain knuckle bow missing. Contained in original scabbard with three brass mounts, two hanging rings. Blade showing wear and pitting. Hilt with wear, bent quillions. Scabbard showing wear and cracking to leather. Mounts with dents and patina. Possibly from Napoleonic era.
