The tunic of blue wool with stand-up collar and sleeve facings of red wool with bullion tape and cording throughout. Front heavily corded in bullion with three rows of brass ball or semi-spherical buttons [used to have five rows]. Four rows of bullion tape on sleeves. Back with three rows of bullion tape. Quilted grey cotton lining. Left inside breast inscribed: Chabannau. Showing wear, losses to buttons, repairs and moth damage.
