25" barrels in 20 bore with 2-3/4" chamber, left barrel choke modified, right barrel choked improved, automatic ejectors, 14-3/8" LOP to front trigger. Barrels feature a raised matted solid rib with single silver bead front sight. Mirror bores. Barrels retain 98% original factory blue with light muzzle wear. Light engraving at breach. Top of the barrel is stamped "Orvis Custom by Union Armera". This is a true side lock model in that the action is in the locks. The action is beautifully hand engraved and finished in a coin nickel finish. Engraving is a combination of scrolls and leaves. Often referred to as a "round action". The sideplate release, safety, release lever, and trigger guard are all finished in blue and are also intricately engraved. The buttstock is a straight English style with fine line checkering, beautiful grain, and the butt is hand checkered in lieu of a plate. The forearm is finely checkered walnut, has the push button release, hardware is blued and engraved as well. All matching numbers. Wood is near mint with a couple of minor impressions. Checkering is sharp. Action shows nearly no wear. High quality custom Spanish double made for the famous Orvis firm.
