The naval officer’s coatee of black wool with red stand-up collar, breast and sleeve facings. Fitted for epaulettes but none present. Bullion tape with fleur-de-lis. Sleeves with three bullion rank stripes [in blue] and single wide bullion stripe on sleeve facing. Fourteen brass anchor buttons on front. Red lining. Showing wear with seam separations and scattered moth damage.
