Comprised of: 1) A Confederate 4 pound Cannonball, from the privateer Paul Jones. 2) An American 6 pound cannon ball from Yorktown. 3) A French 8 pound cannon ball from the French and Indian Wars found near Fort Ticonderoga in New York. All three cannon balls have paper work and there is one map of the location excavated. Also included is Minie balls, solid shot, a small handgun, a gun barrel, back pack buckles, show buckles, a flintlock part, an axe head, two lock plates with the hammer and two horseshoes. All pieces in this lot were recovered on Civil War or French and Indian Wars battle sites and are in excavated and rusted condition.
