Comprised of: 1) French P guard has a 29-3/4” blade, marked with “2264” and “18”, with two hall marks and one fuller. Blade with edge marked “Manuf de Ehateleioult Fevrier 1851”. No leather or wire on the grip. Steel scabbard with single hanging ring and drag. 2) French Briquet has a 23” blade marked “GRENADIER” with small flower etchings on one side of blade. Has a knuckle bow brass hilt. Blade shows pitting, dark spots, and some nicks.
