Comprised of: 1) Straight blade officer’s sabre has a 32-1/2” blade with proof mark in brass, “Sacksen”. Brass knuckle bar, pommel, gold and silver wire. Leather scabbard with three brass mounts. Top mount has a belt hook. Scabbard is weak in two sections. Top mount is loose. 2) French cavalry sabre has a 35-1/4” curved blade with two fullers. Etched on blade: “Gendarmeire A.K.” Three bar brass hilt with pommel, wire wrapped leather grip. Leather coming off into three pieces. 3) Sabre has a 31- 1/8” curved blade sabre with two fullers. One bar hilt. Blade painted in silver, small nicks and dark spots.
