The wheel lock smoothbore musket. Having a 38-5/8" multi-stage barrel, the rear stage top flat marked: 1614. Obscure hallmark at breech. Unmarked wheel lock mechanism. Steel trigger guard and buttplate. Wooden stock with inlays on left side and ramrod. Metal showing wear and pitting. Stock possibly replaced or pinned and showing new tang, cracks, sanding and new varnish.
