Smoothbore musket with a 42-3/4" barrel. Three barrel bands with the brass sight on the last band. The barrel is smooth metal and has four unknown proof marks. The lock plate has two unknown hallmarks with a brass pan and no flint. The hammer locks in both positions and works perfectly. The wood has a nice reddish brown patina with some scratches, a small hole, and a few old nails in the stock on both sides. The barrel has no pitting and the lock has some minor surface rust. There is no visible cartouche.
