A large early American tin bandwagon manufactured by Geo. Brown of Forestville, CT. As was typical of Geo. Brown this toy captures whimsy and reality into miniature form. The wagon consisting of three bench seats for the musicians while the attending driver is seated high above & behind the horse. Very life like re-creation in miniature form the wagon’s white sides are elaborately stenciled in red & the white horse having black trappings with a red belly band. An unusually large toy with some paint enhancement to both the horse & exterior sides of the bandwagon. Featured in Antique Toy World Article. March 2006 - Page 50
