One of the earliest makers of cast iron toys. Marked on the underside with their crescent moon logo AND W& C. Incredibly delicate castings were fitted to the wooden boiler including the articulated front pony truck. It is amazing that toys of this nature with such fragile thin castings survived with no damage to its many castings! Enamelled in black with red highlighting to domes & wheels(red repainted). An all alone great example that can stand by itself in a toy or train collection.
