Old white lettering on blade reads” found on the field after the Cavalry Battle – Gettysburg Pa. July 1.2.3, 1863”. 2) Excavated Model 1840 cavalry saber. 3) Bayonets, location dug unknown. 4) Bayonet, location dug unknown. All in fair condition with rust and damage.
