5-1/2" barrel in .45 LC caliber. This revolver was manufactured in 1880. The gun was expertly restored/converted and now sports a later Colt's single action Army .45 marked barrel, replaced cylinder does not have a serial number but does have the beveled edges. Matching serial number on frame, trigger guard and back strap. Early black powder, screw in frame. Frame has three line patent date and retains 90% of the expertly reapplied case colors with sharp legends. Barrel retains approximately 95% original blue, the ejector rod housing retains 95% of the reapplied finish. Donut ejector rod head. Cylinder retains approximately 90% original blue (replaced). Has the Colt black eagle replacement grips that are near mint but not perfectly fitted. Back strap and trigger guard retain 90% reapplied finish. Action is tight as new, near mint bore. Extremely handsome as refinished/rebuilt antique single action Army.
