24" barrel in .44-40 WCF. This standard rifle was manufactured 1888 in the popular .44-40 caliber. Features full octagon barrel, full magazine, blue finish, sporting sights, walnut stock, and rifle buttplate. Has sharp barrel legends. Barrel and tube are a smooth brown patina. Receiver has approximately 20% original factory blue with the balance a blue-brown patina. Walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks, just the usual abrasions and a small chip at toe. Includes four piece cleaning rod in butt. Very strong rifling with usual abrasions.
