Comprised of: 1) An historical trophy made of a mounted piece of old oak with a dowel at top. Copper escutcheon reading: H.M.S. Victory/Society for Nautical Research 1922/Number 25. Escutcheon on opposite side reading: Superstructure. 2) Wooden wall plinth, 8-3/4" x 18". Copper escutcheon on front reading: British Pistol/found on the Battle site/of Waterloo, by/Mr. R. Woolton, July, 1895. No pistol present. A small, white enameled marker at top, No. 104. 3) Pair of copper bookends in the shape of a ship's wheel with legend at bottom: This Material was Taken From U.S. Frigate Constitution 1927. Of copper construction with lead added to bottom for weight. 4) Horn snuffbox with oval polychrome portrait of Napoleon III. Sold as a souvenir. All showing wear commensurate with age of item.
