Red and yellow wool early British coatee with a yellow stand up collar having small yellow lace trim and button. Yellow fold up cuffs, one fringed epaulette and 46 buttons, none missing. Buttons have British crown and read -- HIGH RIDGE LOCAL MILITIA – DEVON. White cotton lining with one pocket in left breast. Small moth holes and staining in lining.
