7.62x57mm with an 18-1/2" barrel. These rifles were converted in the 1950's and were based on the Model 43 short rifle and currently fire the .308 Winchester round. The barrel was fitted with a flash suppressor. Comes with a bayonet and scabbard. These rifles saw use with the Spanish Special Forces. The bridge has the royal crown and is dated 1954. Stamped "La Corona". It was arsenal refinished in dark military phosphate. Matching serial number on frame and bolt. Rifle remains in near new as arsenal refurbished condition inside and out. Comes with a green canvas military sling.
