.30-06 caliber with a 24" barrel. Manufactured 1944-1947. This rifle was produced sometime during the war or immediately afterwards. Features blued finish, round barrel, hooded ramp front sight, folding rear sight, checkered walnut stock with straight comb, and a blued steel buttplate. Bolt is not numbered. All metal surfaces retain virtually all of the expertly reapplied blue finish with razor sharp legends. Walnut stocks are excellent, there is some finish over the checkering and a few minor marrs. Comes with sling swivels. Fine bore and action. Very handsome, and should be a fine shooting firearm. Manufactured during the best of the Model 70 period.
