This handsome, lifesize, hollow plaster bust of U.S. General John “Black Jack” Pershing (1860-1948) has been painted to look like bronze. Any chips or scrapes show the white plaster underneath. His nose has a repair. The artist included an inscription on the back that reads, “John J. Pershing modeled from life in his Sixty first year at Washington DC”. The right side of the base has the artist’s signature, “Bryant Baker 1921”. Bryant Baker was a renowned American sculptor (1881-1970).

Condition: (Good).
