This lifesize, plaster bust's artist is unknown. The subject is Baron Victor Malouet (1740-1814), decreed the Minister of the Navy by Louis XVIII shortly before his death. He is wearing the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honor of France. It has the usual small scrapes and chips of old plaster as well as some more significant damage. The pedestal has two large breaks and the top of the skull has some cracks.
