.22 rimfire caliber with a 24" barrel. Offered is a nice, early case colored pre-war Marlin Model 39 lever action rifle. Features a blue full octagon barrel, full magazine tube, sporting sights, case colored frame, plain walnut stock with pistol grip, and a Marlin logo black composite buttplate with stock bullseye. Also sports a factory Ranger Model 4x 3/4" brass tube scope with external adjustable mounts. Barrel and tube retain approximately 90% original factory blue finish. Forend cap retains approximately 50% blue. Frame retains approximately 75% color on left side and 40% on right side. Fire blued bolt. Takedown. Stocks are excellent to near mint, proud to metal, with no cracks or chips. Optics on scope are perfect. There is some brass showing through the black enamel. Strong clean bore. Extremely nice high condition early Marlin with cool scope.
