.45-90 WCF caliber with a 26" barrel. Manufactured 1891. At first glance, this rifle appears to be an almost new example. The full octagon barrel and magazine retain virtually all of the blue finish and sport original Winchester sights. The frame, hammer, lever, nose cap, and buttplate retain all of the beautiful Winchester quality case colors, and the oil finished walnut stocks are near mint with the exception of one small sliver right side at wrist. Upon close examination, it was discovered that this rifle has been restored to near new condition, the quality of which Winchester themselves would be proud. Rifle has an original tang sight. Near mint rifle bore and perfect action. Blued finish is a Winchester quality rust blue. Bolt retains all of the blue finish. High polished blue on loading gate. Spectacular as new Winchester Model 1886 rifle in the popular .45-90 caliber. Stunning!
