Caliber is .22 l.r., barrel length is 10". This Smith & Wesson single barrel target pistol was only manufactured from 1905 to 1909. It is a top break. Was manufactured without a cylinder. Finished in Smith & Wesson royal blue with the Smith & Wesson black composite logo grips that have the patent date Aug. 30. 92 on left panel. This is the only example of this fine pistol we have ever seen that is accompanied by its original purple hinged box with proper tan end label. The pistol itself remains in superb all original condition retaining approximately 97% original high polish factory blue with the majority of the wear being some finish loss at the muzzle and left side of barrel from sitting in the box. Brilliant case colors on hammer and trigger guard. Grips are mint, action perfect, mint bore. Exceedingly rare pistol in its own right and impossible to find in its original box.
