24" barrel in .30-06 caliber. Offered is a standard World War II issue Remington Model 1903 U.S. military bolt action rifle. These were the last of the Model 1903 rifles. The barrel is stamped "R.A." with bomb and dated 10-42. All parts are standard issue. Features the scant pistol grip stock, two bolt, no hand groove, with slotted handguard and traditional 03 adjustable rear sight. The bolt is stamped "R" and is pencil-etched "2937". Features the smooth buttplate and three sling swivels. TE reading of 3, ME reading of 2. Rifling is well-defined. Good example of a well-used U.S. World War II infantry rifle.
