Comprised of: 1) Black wool French officer's or diplomat's tailcoat with a red felt stand up collar and cuffs. Silver bullion lace with flowers and acorns. Shoulder board clasps with 16 silver crown buttons. Heavy embroidering on back with white quilted lining and two faux pockets. The coat has small tears and moth nips, in very good condition. 2) French black wool Governor General's coatee with a stand up green collar and cuffs with gold bullion lace. Ten brass fasces crown buttons. Full lining with two breast pockets. Fading to bullion on cuffs, shows little wear, in excellent condition.
