Although their style and patina look similar, these two pieces of plate armor did not come from the same cuirass. The taller breastplate has a pronounced midline ridge, rolled edges, steel rivets with square backs, and raised lugs at the shoulders. The exterior has pitting and the interior has oxidation. The back plate has similar pitting on the exterior and oxidation on the interior. There is a remnant of a leather waist belt anchored by rivets on the left flank.
