This battle scarred plate armor cuirass features brass reinforcement plates and domed rivets over pitted iron. There are two different lion heads at the anchors for the scaled brass and cracked leather shoulder straps. Several of the rivets are loose and the ones holding the new leather waist strap have small, modern nuts holding them on. Likewise on the breastplate, some cloth tape was added on the interior perimeter to keep the loose rivets intact. The back plate is stamped "AP" on the left edge.
