Comprised of: 1) French Etched Breastplate of thin steel features a raised bead as a plackart and rolled edges with rope detail. The fine etching covers the entire plackart area and has a fleur-de-lis at the navel and three vignettes. Two of them feature a Spearman with a large eagle and the large one in the center shows a mounted officer with a naked sword. 2) Breastplate entirely of copper with the exception of 14 small brass rivets along the edges. It appears that the decorations were rolled or stamped into a copper sheet and then formed into a breastplate. Just right of the wearer's sternum is stamped "Musee De L'Art". Some of the vertical decorations have cut through the copper and the edge is torn to the right of the wearer's navel.

Condition: (Very Good).
