Comprised of: 1) French artillery bear skin hat. Brass plate with no. 3, an eagle and crown. Top is red with white flaming bomb. Complete leather lining. Missing some of the bear skin on top. Lining coming loose. Shows wear. 2) British bear skin hat. Thin brass plate with British crown and lion. Writing says "NEC ASPEKA TERRENT" It has 8-finger lining. Missing 40% of the hair on top area. Two fingers missing from the lining. Shows extreme use. Comes with a bag of hair that has fallen off. 3) French Grenadiers bear skin hat. Mid 19th Century. Red top with white cross. Ten-finger lining, leather chin strap. Shows wear but in good condition. 4) French bear skin cap with red bag and gold bullion lace with two tassels. Three-six finger lining. Small leather visor. In very good condition. Original cardboard storage box had a few cracks but in good condition.
