Comprised of: 1) Display case: 35-1/2” x 17-1/2” x 13-3/8”. Front swinging wood framed glass door with lock, no key. Mirror on the back, front and side are glass. "J & F Martell, Fondee EN, 1715" on the glass of the door. Small scratches and chips in the wood. 2) Japanese military trunk: 35-1/2” x 20-1/4” x 6-1/7”. Inside has two compartments for sword. Inside of the lid in old style writing “Meiji Year 36 (1903)” “December” “Purchased (?) in Tokyo as New” Front latch with no key. Small scratches in wood. Damage to lid.
