This impressive circus parade would be a wonderful focal point for a child's room. it consists of five beautifully hand made circus wagons on wheels and a series of charmingly attired circus performers and personnel. The five wagons include: a lead wagon drawn by an elephant, caged lion, caged giraffe, caged tiger and two caged teddy bears. Auxiliary pieces include all five members of the Steiff Circus band with their uniforms and instruments and eleven circus workers including: teddy ticket seller, tiger jumping through a hoop, kangaroo juggler, gorilla strong man, fire-eating dragon, teddy vendor, deal with a ball, monkey cyclist, fat lady hippo, elephant balloon seller and the teddy ringmaster. Also included is a delightful bareback rider set, featuring Miss Dolly Bear on two white horses and two very hard to find teddy clown drivers. All are in the original boxes and in very good to excellent condition, produced 1986 - 1992 in limited edition of 500 pieces. This set is complete, including every piece Steiff made in this series. The two teddy clown drivers were never issued with boxes. What a whimsical display this is!
