This is a wood model of the German barque, Pamir. The Pamir was a four mast merchant ship that launched from Hamburg on July 29, 1905. In World War II, she was seized by New Zealand as a prize of war on August 3, 1941. She sank off the Azores during Hurricane Carrie on September 21, 1957. This model comes affixed to a 18" rectangular wood stand.

Condition: (Very Good).
