26” barrels in .410 bore. Blued steel barrels with solid matte rib and single brass bead; marked “LEFEVER NITRO SPECIAL” on right barrel near breech and “LEFEVER ARMS CO. ITHACA, NY” on opposite barrel. 2-1/2” chambers. “Modified” choke on left barrel, “Cylinder” choke on right barrel. Casehardened boxlock action with stamped duck in flight on each side, automatic safety, extractors and double triggers with blued trigger guard. Partially figured walnut semi-pistol grip stock with checkered panels on each side and black hard rubber butt plate. LOP 13-1/4” to front trigger, 2” drop at comb, 3-1/4” drop at heel. Forend with diamond shaped checkered panel. Excellent condition with barrels retaining 95% rust blue finish with some wear at muzzles and breeches, two holes drilled in rib beneath forend. Some minor scratches to rib. Action retains perhaps 80-90% case colors with some wear at breech. Trigger guard retains 100% re-blued finish. Bores are bright but need cleaned.
