The first shotgun in this lot is a Fox Model B 12 bore boxlock shotgun by Savage. 28” barrels, vent rib, twin beads, extractors, double triggers, automatic safety. 2-3/4”chambers, casehardened action, plain checkered walnut stocks, pistol grip, improved modified chokes. Fair condition, light surface rust on all metal surfaces, scattered marks from use. Shiny bores. Stocks good with scattered marks and some nicks. Includes a tan canvas case for shotgun with section for barrel and section for stock and action, leather fittings. Good condition with some leather straps broken and some minor staining. The second shotgun is an L.C. Smith Field Grade 12 bore side lock shotgun, serial No. 553095. 2-1/2” chambers, 30” blued barrels with solid matte rib and single brass bead, casehardened action, trigger guard, lever, and safety. Double triggers, extractors, automatic safety. Left barrel improved modified choke, right barrel modified choke. Checkered walnut stock with leather buttstock cover, missing butt plate. LOP 13-1/8” to the end of butt from front trigger. Good condition. Barrels retain 20-30% blue, otherwise brown patina with some spotting and rust. Action retains 80% case colors with some areas of spotting; stock with losses to finish from leather and missing butt plate, scattered marks from use, bores good but need cleaned.
