23-1/2" barrel in .22 rimfire caliber. The 550 was introduced in 1941. This model (550-1) was introduced in 1946. It is a semi-automatic tube fed rifle that features a pistol grip, non-checkered walnut stock in excellent condition and black composite buttplate. All metal surfaces are pleasing blue mixed with brown patina. Fine bore and perfect action. Quality .22 semi-loader.
